The Old Plantation

The Place: The stunning banquet hall and large open dining terrace is built from local stone and timber. A pleasant feature is the cooling terracotta roof. The restaurant is set among coconut palms and overlooks the Bohol Sea. Relaxed dining can be enjoyed on the large open terrace or al fresco under the palms beside the beach, and snacks are available at the bar. Perfect for a long, lazy lunch; we won’t turn off the view at two o’clock.

The fully equipped and modern kitchen provides a wide choice of local and international dishes, along with our own signature dishes and snacks. Seafood, grills, and Asian cuisine are our specialty. Vegetarian, vegan, and other wellness options are available, as are a few extravagantly and heedlessly self-indulgent ones.

Drinks

Meals may be accompanied by selections from our extensive range of fine, but affordable, wines and cocktails. Or you may prefer to enjoy a bottle of wine or some sundowner cocktails at our fully stocked, breezy open-air bar. Espresso coffee is also available.

Yes, every day. 10% off all drink orders placed between 4:30 PM and 6:00 PM. The sunset is complimentary.

Beautiful place for a romantic garden dinner. We stayed two nights at the resort and fell in love with the place. The food was top quality, we had the Trevally which was cooked to perfection acompanied with top quailty wines at affordable prices. You must have the Gelata with a shot of liqueur. We had an early valentines day at the staff were excellend in making the table setting just right with flowers and candles (although the wind blew them out) they brough over a LED light 🙂 The owner Peter was very welcoming and helpful also. 10/10 will be coming back for longer next time.

We really enjoyed our visit to the resort restaurant. The dishes were tasty and prepared with care, and the service was friendly and attentive. The wine list offered plenty of choice and matched the menu well. For the quality of the food and service we found the prices very reasonable. A nice place to eat cozy and good during your stay!

This place was absolutely fantastic. We stayed at Island View for 6 days and we chose to eat every meal here. We sampled almost everything on the menu, and they all were delicious. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our every need. My favorite decadence was the pistachio gelato afterward. Such a delicious treat.

We stayed a week and ate three times a day in the Old Plantation. The menu was varied, and the local dishes were terrific. Even the bar snacks were freshly prepared and a meal in themselves. The wine would have been admired in a top West End restaurant, let alone sitting looking across a beautiful garden to a turquoise sea, days from the nearest wine merchant. We were departing at 7am, and the staff cooked us fresh samosas for the journey.

This restaurant is part of the Island View Beachfront resort, as we stayed here we managed to experience Breakfast, lunch and dinner, several times, and we were very thankful for that, every single meal was quality and really really nice. The view is simply amazing, looking out over the beach and their magnificent garden… And all this is provided at a very reasonable price. Absolutely a brilliant restaurant.

In the best resort in Anda, you can also find the best restaurant and wine bar! Every dish is excellent, the service is amazing, the atmosphere and decor are beautiful the variety is great and delicious! And they have an incredible selection of wine, probably one of the best in the Philippines!

Unsurprisingly, the Old Plantation is the best restaurant in Anda, but it is possibly one of the best in Bohol. The standard of restaurant is so good that it would justify the trip there in its own right but, fortunately, being situated in the Island View Beachfront Resort, with its comfortable bungalows and rooms, guests can stay on into the late evening and relax without the worry of having to make a long journey home.
